We are proud that all our electricity consumption comes from renewable wind power, that heating of our ovens and premises comes from climate neutral biogas and with our district heating were the energy comes 100% from renewable energy sources.
But we are not satisfied with that…
We in the Nordics have the opportunity to be the world’s best in sustainable manufacturing, we are there and we shall continue to be the world´s best. .
We see offering our customers products where we report climate footprint of the manufactured details as a major competative advantage.
Therefore, we must continue to make our energy consumption more effient, minimize our water consumption, trim our logistical flows and minimize waste, reuse materials and source sort for the best recycling.
We have an environment and chemicals group that, with in-depth knowledge, works with environmental improvements and reducing the impact of our chemicals on the environment through follow-up of legal requirements, risk analysis, substitution
We have an energy group that works with energy efficiency. Nitator's management system is certified according to ISO 14001

Regulatory compliance
Nitator follows accounting rules for financial reporting. The sustainability report that is under development will comply with the Sustainability Reporting Act (ÅRL).
Code of Conduct
Nitator strives for a high reputation as a responsible company with responsible employees. The code of conduct is based on internationally accepted conventions and expresses the values and guidelines that apply within the group. All employees undergo training in the code and are expected to report suspected violations.

Nitator has operations in smaller communities in Halland, where we are an important employer that creates jobs
- For us, it is natural that we get involved in the society where we operate.
- Nitator has long been at the forefront of reducing exclusion. In our companies, every individual should feel respected. Respect for the individual is one of our important core values.
- We actively support various projects by offering employees SFI training during working hours and collaborating with WoW (Women on Wednesday)
- Nitator facilitates the need for recruitment by building up a property portfolio in the local area, to meet housing needs for, for example, new arrivals.
- We have a close collaboration with high schools, colleges and universities of applied sciences in the surrounding area, such as Veldi Kompetens and Kattegattsgymnasiet.

As a Swedish supplier to the automotive industry, we want to show our customers that we are a world leader in sustainable manufacturing of components for the automotive industry.
In our sustainability work, together with our stakeholders, we have carried out a materiality analysis where, among other things, we have analyzed and weighted the UN's 17 global sustainability goals according to where we can benefit and our opportunity to influence.
